The next step is deciding which column of text you would like to edit. Although there are multiple columns of text on the screen, only one column can be edited at a time. This allows you to apply different styles to each column invidiually. To choose a column which you would like to edit, look for the word "Edit:" at the top of the options bar (right below the word "View:"). Next to the word "Edit:" you should see 3 icons. These icons represent which column you are currently editing. If you click on the first icon () it means you are editing Column 1, if you click on the second icon () it means you are editing Column 2, and if you click on the third icon () it means you are editing Column 3. You will also notice that depending on your "View:" selection, your available "Edit:" options will change accordingly. For example, if you choose a 2-Column View, you will not be able to edit Column 3 because there are now only two columns of text available. If you choose a 1-Column View, this setting is not applicable, since there is only one column of text available for you to edit.
